LGLA is collaborating with Page & Turnbull and XTEN Architecture on the adaptive reuse of Laurel House as an artists’ residence and studio. The site’s historic landscape will be rehabilitated as a community destination with exhibit space for future artists-in-residence, a small performance area, picnic areas, improved ADA access, and a dog-friendly passive-use park. The sun/shade study shows how different-sized trees shade the performance space.
